Despite the rainy, cold weather, hundreds flocked to Hampton Bays to watch the grand finale of the two-day San Gennaro Feast — a Grucci fireworks show.
While residents huddled in warm jackets and blankets, huge explosions lit up the night sky around 8:30 p.m. — a half an hour earlier than expected due to the impending weather.
