PHOTOS: Cystic Fibrosis Walk Held in Westhampton Beach
Residents took to the street on Saturday to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.
On Saturday morning, families from all over the East End gathered in Westhampton Beach to participate in the annual Great Strides Walk for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The walk kicked off at 10 a.m. with walkers meeting at the village gazebo to begin the 3-mile walk.
According to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, over 200 people participated in the event, which raised $84,000 — the goal was to bring in $70,000.
