Photo of the Day: Farmers Market Opens
A vine-cutting ceremony was held on Saturday at the Westhampton Beach Farmers Market.
The officially opened for the season on Saturday with a vine-cutting ceremony.
The popular market, which features fresh produce, and is run by the will now be open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Victoria Hedberg Kingwell, market manager, said that this season, 43 Long Island venders will sell a range of products, including cheese, eggs, fish, chickens, vegetables, gourmet items, spice rubs and sauces, herbs and flowers.

The market, which is located at 85 Mill Road in Westhampton Beach, will be open until November 17.
