East Quogue Resident Named Deputy Aviation Commissioner at MacArthur

Terry Hennessey of East Quogue has been selected to serve as deputy aviation commissioner at Long Island MacArthur Airport.

East Quogue resident Terry Hennessey has taken the helm as the deputy aviation commissioner at Long Island MacArthur Airport.

Hennessey, who took the seat on on Tuesday was selected as part of the Town of Islip's strategic plan to broaden the management team at the airport.

Islip Town Supervisor Tom Croci said Hennessey brings with him 30 years experience in the field.

He has worked as the British Airways manager at Baltimore Washington Marshall International Airport and at Washington Dulles International Airport.

“We welcome Mr. Hennessey to a team that is dedicated to solidifying LIMA as a nationally recognized transportation hub,” said Supervisor Croci.  “He shares our vision of making LIMA an engine for economic recovery in our area.”
