Photo of the Day: East End Pediatricians Recognized For Mother's Day
The La Leche League of Southampton delivered cookie gift baskets to doctors that work at Southampton Hospital and Peconic Bay Medical Center.
In honor of Mother's Day, the La Leche League of Southampton, said it delivered baskets of cookies to 16 East End ObGyns and pediatricians who work with infants at and Peconic Bay Medial Center to thank them for "their hard work and assistance in promoting the heath, economic and environmental benefits of breastfeeding to new mothers."
According to the La Leche League, which is comprised of mothers from Sag Harbor to Manorville, the cookies baskets were donated by the in Westhampton Beach.
Anyone interested in learning more about breastfeeding can join the La Leche League on the first Friday of each month at Parrish Hall in Southampton at 10:30 a.m. For more information call 631-653-6535.
