Meschutt Beach Parking Lot Gets a Face Lift

A construct project at Meschutt Beach aims to lessen pollutants from entering the water.

A construction project at in Hampton Bays, which aims to cut the amount of pollutants, such as oil from cars, from entering the water, is 90 percent complete, according to an article posted on 27east.

The $700,000 Suffolk County Department of Public Works drainage and repaving project started in October and is expected to be complete by April, reports 27east.

located on Canal Road, is a popular spot during the summer and for the past 11 years has featured a Cruze Night on Fridays where car enthusiasts line up their classic cars, chat and enjoy the beach and Great Peconic Bay.
