Library hopes to raise money through Igive program.

While purchasing online Valentine's Day gifts for loved ones this Valentine's Day, the is hoping some of that love will spread their way in the form of a program, called, Igive.

The program, according to Melissa Fried, children's librarian, will donate money to the library every time an individual, who participates in the program, shops online.

"It is no cost to the person," said Fried, who said the library is trying to get the word out in an effort to raise raise funds during Valentine's Day.

The program does, however, last for as long as the user has the igive button on their browser," said Fried.

The idea to participate in the program, said Fried came from director of the library, who learned about it on Suffolk's Literacy Website.
