Last Chance: Seal Release at 11:30 a.m.

We've seen hundreds of events come and go in the community, but how often does one pass you by that you wish you hadn't missed out on? That's where we come in. Each week, Westhampton-Hampton Bays Patch will post a quick reminder about the events, activities or important tasks whose deadlines have come.

On Thursday at 11:30 a.m. the Riverhead Foundation will release Angelina and Savanna, gray seal pups who were rescued by the foundation, under the Ponquogue Bridge in Hampton Bays. Seal releases are always a spectacle and kids love to see the animal head home.

The foundation is asking for participants to donate cleaning and/or office supplies, at the event.
