Last Chance: Pre-Register For The 2nd Annual Over the Bridge Run

We've seen hundreds of events come and go in the community, but how often does one pass you by that you wish you hadn't missed out on? That's where we come in. Every so often, Westhampton-Hampton Bays Patch will post a quick reminder about the events, activities or important tasks whose deadlines have come. This week, we're letting you know about the 2nd annual Over the Bridge run, which will take place on Saturday.

According to the Hampton Bays Lions Club, which is hosting the run, there is a little under a week left to pre-register for the 2nd annual run.

The Lions Club said the race, which is the fourth leg of the Greater Westhampton Race Series and raises money for Lions Club programs, proved to be a .

The club said it is looking to exceed the number of participants this year.

To preregister, click here. Registration is also available on the day of the race at 7:30 a.m. at the . participants will then be bussed to the Ponquogue Bridge starting line at 8:30 a.m.

The cost to participate is $20 for pre-registration and $25 for those registering on the day of the race. Those 14 and under are $10. The first 400 entrants will receive a race t-shirt.
