Hampton Bays Patch Expands to Become Westhampton-Hampton Bays Patch

Today marks an important and exciting day for this 7-month-old Patch, as we have officially expanded to the west, covering everything from Hampton Bays to Remsenburg/Speonk.

Effective immediately, Hampton Bays Patch will become Westhampton-Hampton Bays Patch, which is displayed in our new homepage banner. We have also changed the site URL to westhampton-hamptonbays.patch.com, representing our new coverage area.

For the past two months, Hampton Bays Patch has been slowly making its way into the areas that were not previously covered by a Patch site, including Westhampton, Westhampton Beach, Quogue, East Quogue and Remsenburg/Speonk.

We have been to the events, as well as the school board and village board meetings, and wherever we have been, we were welcomed with open arms. It's that enthusiasm that makes this expansion so special to us.

With the expansion now official, we intend to offer even more coverage of events and happenings through the western portion of Southampton and will look to engage the community with our news coverage.

Our editors and dedicated writers will be at the local coffee shops to chat with readers, at school events, civic meetings and at community events to provide fair and comprehensive reporting in this exciting area.
