27east is reporting that the new, which intersects Old Riverhead Road and County Road 104, is now open.
According to an article posted by 27east, the circle opened earlier this week after two months of detours.
James Peterman, the chief deputy commissioner of the Suffolk County Department of Public Works is quoted as saying that there is still some work that needs to be completed, such as line painting, around the circle, but "there will be no more detours or closures."

The project started in August 2011 and cost $1.1 million.
