Don't Miss It: Ponquogue Point Clean Up Sunday

The clean-up starts at 7 a.m.

A community clean-up of Ponquogue Point, which sits on the north side of the Ponquogue Bridge in Hampton Bays will take place on Sunday, starting at 7 a.m.

Life-long resident of Hampton Bays Carolyn Munaco Haines organized the clean-up through Facebook. She is asking residents interested in helping to bring garbage bags to help rid the area of trash.

Munaco said she got the idea for the clean-up after walking through the area searching for inspiration for her artwork.

P. Killian, Thanks for asking. We just reached out to State police. They are doing seatbelt checks.
