Charge Up at Westhampton Beach School District Office, Library

The district office will be available to charge personal devices between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

With many still without power in the area, the Westhampton Beach School District has announced that anyone wishing to charge up their cell phones, computers other personal electronic devices can do so between 10 and 1 p.m.

According to the district's Facebook Page, charging stations will be set up in the district office. Residents just need to bring a power cable and sign-in at the reception desk.

The Westhampton Free Library is also reporting that as of Friday morning, it has full power with Internet and can be used for charging devices.

The school district reopened on Friday morning after power was restored on Thursday. According to LIPA, there are still nearly 1,000 customers without power in Westhampton Beach, excluding Dune Road, which still has no power.

In addition, the East Quogue School will be open on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. as a charging station. Find out more here.
