Chamber President: Antique Clock to Grace Main Street

The Westhampton Chamber is looking to sponsor the purchase a clock for Main Street.

Following the Village of Quogue and many other villages, the Westhampton Chamber of Commerce is looking to spruce up Main Street with an 8 to 9 foot antique clock.

According to Dwayne Wagner, president of the chamber, the board of directors are looking into the idea and hope to have a clock installed sometime before next summer.

"We think it would be something nice to do and add to the charm of Westhampton Beach," said Wagner.

Wagner could not say exactly where the clock will be placed, but plans to have a discussion with Westhampton Beach Village officials.

To fund the clock, the chamber will be looking to open up sponsorship opportunities to area businesses and the public.
