AT&T and Elite Towers, of Babylon, have requested a pre-submission conference with the Southampton Town Board for the proposed construction of a cell tower on property owned by the Seabreeze Motel in Westhampton, according to an article posted by 27East.
The article reports that AT&T and Elite Towers made the request on Dec. 28 and are looking to build the tower on a 1.63 acre parcel at 19 Seabreeze Avenue in Westhampton. The land is zoned motel business.
The proposal comes on the heals of a proposal that is slated to be built behind the East Quogue Fire House on Montauk Highway.
