This week Bideawee of Westhampton is looking to find a home for Lucky, a beautiful, but shy, two-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat, who arrived at the shelter after a Good Samaritan found her outside, alone and looking for food.
According to Deanna Murphy, the client care coordinator for Bideawee, although Lucky is she is quite tiny, and only weighs seven pounds.
"Lucky is seeking a loving and patient home, who is willing to let her become comfortable at her own pace with her new family," said Murphy. "Once she knows you, Lucky is very affectionate."
Murphy says Lucky would flourish in a quiet home willing to dedicate time and attention to her.
The adoption fee for Lucky is $150. All of Bideawee’s pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Bideawee’s pets receive socialization, exercise, behavioral training and other daily activities that let the staff get to know each animal's special personality to make the best match.
