Bideawee Pet of the Week: Chloie Was Used for Target Practice

Bideawee of Westhampton has a number of pets available for adoption.

This week, is looking to find a home for Chloie, a sweet, Rat Terrier mix, who is just about two-years-old and seeking a patient and dedicated home to call her own.

According to Deanna Murphy, the client care coordinator for Bideawee, it was discovered that Chloie, who was rescued her from a high-kill municipal shelter, that she has several B.B. Gun pellets underneath her skin and was likely used as a target by her former owners.

"Although she has healed physically, she is still emotionally and socially scared," Murphy said. "Chloie is a nervous girl, often frightened by new people, however, once she knows that you are gentle and kind, she’ll fall right into your lap.  All she needs is a second chance with a patient family."
