This week, is looking to find a home for Chloie, a sweet, Rat Terrier mix, who is just about two-years-old and seeking a patient and dedicated home to call her own.
According to Deanna Murphy, the client care coordinator for Bideawee, it was discovered that Chloie, who was rescued her from a high-kill municipal shelter, that she has several B.B. Gun pellets underneath her skin and was likely used as a target by her former owners.
"Although she has healed physically, she is still emotionally and socially scared," Murphy said. "Chloie is a nervous girl, often frightened by new people, however, once she knows that you are gentle and kind, she’ll fall right into your lap. All she needs is a second chance with a patient family."
Chloie, says Murphy is seeking a loving family, with children over 12, that are willing to get to know Chloie at her own pace.
The adoption fee for Chloie is $150. All of Bideawee’s pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Bideawee’s pets receive socialization, exercise, behavioral training and other daily activities that let the staff get to know each animal's special personality to make the best match.
