As plows continue to clear roads and with freezing rain in the forecast, schools across the area have announced that classes will starting 2-hours late on Monday morning. Among them, the Hampton Bays School District, the Westhampton Beach School District and the East Quogue Elementary School.
In addition, morning Hampton Bays School District Pre-kindergarten sessions have been cancelled, however, afternoon sessions will go on as scheduled.
Hampton Bays Superintendent Lars Clemensen also said that high school senior driving privileges have been suspended on Monday due to limited parking at the high school.
"Parents should use extra caution at bus stops," said Clemensen, adding, "And also leave ample time to drop students off, as we expect the parent drop-off line to be long."
Raynor Country Day School announced that classes on Monday are canceled.

Saint Mark's Bright Beginnings in Westhampton Beach will be closed on Monday. A make-up day will be added to spring break.
