Would You Attend Another Cash Mob?

Downtown cash infusions have been taking flight across the country.

Nancy Swett, founder of iloveriverhead, said she read about a Jan. 28 Bellport cash mob and wanted to hold another before Valentine's Day. The quick turnaround - less than two weeks - left some commenters saying they would have attended, had they known about it in advance.

Swett said in a Tuesday interview that she may organize another one on National Cash Mob Day, reported to be March 24 - though she said she hadn't thought too much about it.

Yes I would attend another. I think this thing could grow, especially if more Main St. establishments offered some form of incentive for that day and a list of the offers was handed out to the "mobbers" before shopping. And, of course, more publicity needs to be done.

YES I would attend a 'mob' anything! (Wait, that doesn't sound right..lol). But yes, I would absolutely attend another cash mob shopping event! I visualize signs in merchant windows advertising specials just for 'mobbers'. This way, people's interest will peak wondering who or what a mobber is.
