High Gear Fitness in Westhampton held its last spin class.

The business, which opened in 2012 and featured spin, TRX classes and boot camps, closed for good after a spin class with Roland and TRX training with Donna on Sunday.

In a letter to customers, owner of High Gear, Lynn November wrote, "Our entire team at High Gear had fun and fantastic time training with you. While we are very saddened by the news of our closing, we are also excited to what the future will bring and look forward to seeing you all soon."

November said spin enthusiasts can still take classes with popular teachers Denielle, Lauren, Roland and Joanne at Aerial Fitness, 38 W Main Street, Riverhead.

"It is right around the corner. Not only do they offer you a chance to spin on the Real Ryder’s, but you can continue your TRX strength training, boot camps and other fun fitness passions," said November.

During it's two years in business, High Gear, not only helped its customers to get into shape, but it also became a part of the community, holding several fundraisers.

In November 2012, the business, raised $9,000 for the 100-year-old, non-profit Bideawee, which suffered damage during Hurricane Sandy.
