Progress: Francesca's Facade Complete

Ponquogue Avenue restaurant sheds scaffolding and boards for red brick and classic lighting fixtures

As scheduled, the new and improved facade of Francesca's Pizzeria facing Ponquogue Avenue has been inviting customers back in through the front door of the eatery.

In August, Patch spoke with owner Mark Caltabiano about the major renovation project currently underway at the restaurant. In addition to the facade, the pizzeria has gotten a facelift in the interior and will soon be getting some upgrades to its kitchen and oven capacity.

We're sure you've been enjoying the new look for some time, as the restaurant contributes to the quaint aesthetic of the avenue.
