Planet Fitness To Hold Grand Re-Opening
The fitness spot has added a brand-new cardio area.
Planet Fitness in Hampton Bays has completed the second phase of a renovation project and is set to show it off at a ribbon cutting ceremony next month.
The 20-year-old fitness studio, located at 250 Montauk Highway, will hold its grand re-opening on Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. The event will feature prizes, refreshments and give-aways.
“We are thrilled to finally complete this portion of our renovation” said John Mahoney, owner of the Hampton Bays franchise.
The latest renovations include a new mezzanine that now serves as a main Cardio area. Added to the new cardio spot are twelve new Cybex Treadmills and other popular cardio pieces such as Lifefitness stationary bikes, cross trainers and Cybex Arc Trainers.
The new area is in addition to renovations completed in January in which a new Black Card spa area was created.
