Next week, numerous kids will be heading off to summer camp, taking with them backpacks full of clothing and stuffed toys, along with excitement of adventures to come.
However, being away from home sometimes brings home-sickness, but Lynn Jones, owner of Lynn's Cards and Gifts, said her shop has an item that can help ease anxiety — camp cards.
Jones' array of cards for kids at camp are one of her most popular sellers in the summer.
"We sell tons of them," said Jones, pointing to a display chocked full of cards designed for any child.
Aside from camp cards, Lynn's cards and gifts also has an assortment of notepads for kids so they can write home. And another popular summer camp item, Mad Libs, said Jones.
Lynn's Cards and Gifts is located at 137 Main Street in Westhampton Beach.
