Brothers Michael and Matthew Moreo of Aquebogue are opening a breakfast-lunch-and-dinner joint in a spacious Front Street storefront once occupied by , which  in Greenport.

Unlike a traditional deli, the Greenport Eatery will focus on serving fresh bagels and bagel sandwiches, paninis, chopped salads, wraps, baked goods, and coffee from the Hampton Coffee Company in a comfortable, WiFi-friendly café setting, said Michael Moreo — a 24-year-old with a background in law who said he’s wanted to take the plunge as a restaurateur for a couple of years now.

To start generating interest in the  at , the developers of the 58-acre district, cousins Mitchell and Gregg Rechler, officially opened a sales office with a ribbon cutting ceremony last Friday morning.

Southampton

Seeing a demand, the 12-year-old Zipcar car rental company that started in Massachusetts has taken a leap, launching in the Hamptons this summer.

According to Jessica Margolis-Pineo, the public relations director for Zipcar, Zipcars are now available in several locations across the Hamptons.

"Basically our members asked us to come to the Hamptons," said Margolis-Pineo, adding that a number of the company's New York City clients vacation on the East End.

Riverhead

After permitting delays and  for small business owners Steve Wirth and Duffy Griffiths, Crooked Ladder Brewing Company is officially starting its 

Demolition in the 1,600-square foot space formerly occupied by Crystal Bar began over the weekend, as Wirth, the owner of , and Griffiths, the owner of  in Jamesport and on Route 58 in Riverhead, start to work their way toward a fall opening.

"For two years we've been saying something's going to happen. Something is finally happening," Wirth said on Tuesday.

East Hampton

The Montauk Beach House, at the former  motel, opens for the summer season this weekend after an extensive renovation.

High-end rooms, a club membership to the resort's pools, a pop-up clothing shop and events like film screenings and fashion shows are part of the package at the much-anticipated resort.
