Closed on Montauk Highway: Mahogany's

What type of restaurant would you like to see open in the space?

Another local favorite, Luigi's at Mahogany's, located at 295 Montauk Highway in Speonk, has been closed for several months.

The restaurant, located in a shopping plaza, has been through a number of turns, including a time when it was called Jack & Diane's.

Now that the eatery has closed its doors, what would you like to see open in its place?  What kind of restaurant do you think the Remsenburg-Speonk area needs?

I'd love to see something to replace the Old Speonk Inn as a hangout spot, nothing crazy or loud but a nice bar with a dart board, pool table, and delicious, affordable food.

I am new to the east end and am very surprised to see vacationers here during these winter months, I see a whole bunch of S. Carolina, Virginia & Arizona plates driving around!
