Tucker, DiBenedetto Re-Elected to Westhampton Beach Village Board

Former Trustee Toni-Jo Birk lost her bid for a seat.

Trustees Hank Tucker and Patricia DiBenedetto will serve another two years on the Westhampton Beach Village Board. Toni-Jo Birk, who was also vying for a seat failed to garner enough votes during Friday's election.

DiBenedetto received the highest number of votes — 246 —  and Tucker, who is the deputy mayor, garnered 243 votes.

Birk, the village's former Deputy Mayor, received 214 votes, making this her second defeat — she lost her bid for re-election in 2012 by two votes after serving for six years on the board.
