Extras Casting Agency Seeks Hamptons Locals

Background actors needed for "Royal Pains" and a film shooting next month around the Hamptons.

Grant Wilfley Casting, a Manhattan casting agency, is once again seeking Hamptons locals to be extras in upcoming film and television projects.

Casting is currently underway for the fifth season of “Royal Pains,” a Hamptons-based television show about a concierge doctor to the wealthy starring Mark Feuerstein, and “The Other Woman,” a feature film starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Nicolaj Coster-Waldau. Both will be filming around the Hamptons in June.

For “Royal Pains,” among the roles the agency is looking to fill are model-types, ladies-who-lunch, beachgoers, yachtsman, golfers, tennis players, bankers, brokers and “attractive partygoers.” For hospital scenes, extras are needed to portray doctors, nurses, orderlies and EMTs. Owners of “ultra-high-end cars” are also needed, along with their rides.

The casting agency requests that locals who wish to apply send in recent photos “in their best summer-fabulous Hamptonite look.”

“The Other Woman” will be shooting beach scenes, which means extras of all ages and body types are needed to wade, swim and sunbathe.

Both experienced union members and non-union newcomers with no acting experience are invited to apply.

Grant Wilfley Casting asks applicants to email hamptons@gwcnyc.com their photo, name, contact number, union status, height and weight and role for which they are submitting including real experience. Those with high-end vehicles should also email the color, year, make and model of their cars.
