2012 Summer Finest in World Cinema Series

The season's premiere movie, I Wish, is a film directed by Hirokazu Koreeda, and tells the story of a boy, Koichi, and his brother living in the southern region of Japan who become seperated due to their parent's divorce.  Koichi goes on a journey in hopes to become reunited by a certain miracle he believes is going to take place.

Andrew Botsford of Quogue, an actor with the Hampton Theatre Company, will introduce and discuss films Tuesday nights in July as part of Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center's Finest in World Cinema Series.

The movie is rated PG and is shown in Japanese with English subtitles.
