QUOGUE HISTORICAL SOCIETY: CHILDRENS ART SHOW

Event:  For the first time, the Quogue Children’s Art Show will be held separately from the Quogue Art Show. The Children’s Art Show will feature local children’s artwork (artists up to age 16 years), including those children who participated in the Children’s Art Lessons at the Quogue Library.  Artwork will be juried and prizes awarded in various categories.

Application:  All children, up through age 16, are invited to exhibit their artwork, whether or not they have participated in the Children’s Art Lessons at The Quogue Library.  To exhibit a child’s artwork, the artwork must be marked on the back with the artist’s name, age, and telephone number and delivered and during business hours to the Quogue Library, 90 Quogue Street, on Monday, August 13, 2012 (12 pm – 5 pm), Tuesday, August 14, 2012 (10 am – 8 pm), or Wednesday, August 15, 2012 (10 am – 5 pm).  Any artwork delivered after Wednesday, August 15, 2012 cannot be accepted.
