2011-12 Hampton Bays Chamber of Commerce Poster Contest

THE HAMPTON BAYS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE INVITES YOU………….

 To submit original artwork for our Annual Poster Contest for 2011-2012.  All originals are to be brought to our Chamber office.  The chamber members present at our Spring Dinner/Meeting in April will vote on the work to be accepted as the poster for the year 2011-2012.  Non-winning original works will be returned to the artists promptly.  After poster copies of the winner are printed, that original will be returned to the artist with the first fifty copies run of the poster.  All posters are to be signed and numbered by the artist.  The winning artist is not to sell his/her own posters at any Chamber function or event, but is allowed to sell the original as a private sale.

 Any fine art medium will be accepted, including painting, pen & ink, sketches, sculpture, wood carving, photography, etc.  Although the voting members might accept any subject or scene, it is suggested that a rendition of a popular or recognizable Hampton Bays site, or, a well known historic place, building or event in Hampton Bays will be favored to represent our hamlet in a poster.
