Your Weekend Planner: Seal Hike, Chili Cook-Off and Bingo

Looking for something to do this weekend? Look no further. Here are some happenings in the Hamptons this weekend. 

Bingo
On Friday night, he Lioness Club of the Hamptons are hosting a night of Bingo at the American Legion Hall, 55 Ponquogue Ave, Hampton Bays. The doors open at 6:30 pm and drawing will begin at 7:30. The $10 admission includes refreshments and one bingo packet. The evening will benefit the Guidedog Foundation and other Lioness charities.

'The Selfish Giant' Screening 
On Saturday, the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center will present the film, The Selfish Giant on Saturday and Sunday at 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15, $9 and $5.

Trail Cleanup
On Saturday, the Peconic Land Trust is hosting a trail cleanup from 9:00 a.m. to noon in Amagansett.  They will be removing garbage and debris from the trails of their Accabonac, Silver Beech and High Point Preserves. Parking for volunteers is on Accabonac Road near Stony Hill Road.

Southampton Animal Shelter Low Cost Spay/Neuter Mobile Clinic
On Saturday, SASF is offering low cost spay/neuter services, as well as vaccinations through their mobile click. Call for an appointment.631-728-PETS (7387) Ext. 247.

Seal Hike in Montauk
On Saturday, bring the family and join a state park naturalist on a beach/forest hike to a local haul-out spot for migrating seals. The hike starts at 9:00 a.m. at Montauk State Park. 

Chili Cook-Off
On Saturday, local businesses will be sharing their favorite chili dishes at this family event, which will be held at the Springs Community Presbyterian Church 5 Old Stone Highway, East Hampton. The event starts at 5:00 p.m. and the cost is $15 per person. Proceeds benefit the Springs Community Presbyterian Church.
