Anthony Oddone, the man convicted in 2010 of first-degree manslaughter for causing the death of Hampton Bays resident Andrew Reister by holding him in a headlock at Southampton Publick House, is getting a new trial.

Rumba, Cowfish Owners Look To Expand West

The owner of popular Hampton Bays eateries Rumba and Cowfish are looking to expand westward to the Patchogue area. 

According to a post on Rumba'sFacebook Page late last week, owners of the restaurant are looking for investors for a Main Street Patchogue restaurant.

CPI Developers Intend to Integrate Public Comment Into Final Plan

Developers of the controversial Canoe Place Inn project, Gregg and Mitchell Rechler informed the public during a public hearing Tuesday night that they intend to "integrate public comment into their final plan."

Town Buys Neptune's, Plans to Transform It Into a Museum

The popular summer Dune Road spot, Neptunes Beach Club, which has had trouble with drugs over the years with cops responding on a regular basis will soon be reestablished as a museum and public boardwalk. 

Animal Shelter Garners $135K Grant for Mobile Spay/Neuter Program

For the first time, the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation can take their efforts to spay and neuter pets on the road.

The Foundation was awarded a hefty $135,000 grant from the The American Society For Prevention of Cruelty To Animals recently to buy a mobile spa/neuter van.
