Video: Westhampton Library Presents Budget Proposal

Matthew Bollerman, library director, says tax levy will increase 1.71 percent.

On May 9, Matthew Bollerman, director of the Westhampton Free Library, presented the library's budget proposal during a hearing on the Westhampton Beach School Budget.

The library's $2.4 million budget proposal will appear as a separate ballot during the school budget vote on May 17. It calls for a tax levy increase of 1.71 percent or, in dollars, the average tax payer will be asked to pay an additional $4.97 a year.
