On Saturday, the Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation released a rehabilitated male gray seal pup in the waters off Hampton Bays.
The release was attended by second graders from who raised funds to adopt the seal.
Mambo was rescued from the Swordfish Beach Club in Westhampton Beach on April 12.
