Traffic Alert: Hampton Bays Main Street To Close Saturday for Parade

The roadway will be closed off for the annual San Genaro Feast of the Hamptons parade from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

Police are advising motorists to say away from Main Street in Hampton Bays from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

The roadway will be closed during that time for the 3rd annual San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons parade.

The parade, which will travel northbound on Ponquogue Avenue, west along Montauk Highway, and end on Springville Road near Good Ground Road is set to kick off at 10:30 a.m.

Traffic is expected from Bittersweet South to Flanders Road and Ponquogue Avenue from Fanning Ave. to Montauk Highway.

Leading the parade this year will be Grand Marshal Dominick Spoto with over 50 organizations and groups following.

The parade will be followed by two-days of music, vendors, carnival rides, food and fireworks on Good Ground Road.
