Southampton Town's Parks and Recreation Department has released its Fall 2012 program schedule.
The schedule, said Parks Superintendent Chris Bean, is full of popular events, as well as a few new ones. One event that Bean said is sure to sell out is a trip to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in New York City on December 12.
"It sells out every year because the price is so reasonable," Bean said.
Other popular happenings include Soccer Squirts and exercise classes, which start at the end of September; a pumpkin carving contest in East Quogue on Oct. 27; and the Punt, Pass and Kick contest scheduled to take place in Hampton Bays.
New this year is a cake decorating class, which Bean expects to fill up.
Other classes offered include a dance thriller workshop, movement and yoga, CPR for friends and family, CPR and AED training, kids on camera, improv for youth, introduction to movie acting, hip hop dance, introduction to dance and movement, yoga, belly dancing, and zumba.
Also in the fall schedule are a number of guided trail walks including ones that explore parks in Southampton, Sag Harbor and Noyac as well as youth bureau and senior activities.
So, grab your calendar and start marking the dates.
