The Oldest Item At Good Ground Antiques

What do you think it is?

On any day of the week, customers can find a trove of treasures at the 100-year-old Good Ground Antique Center in Hampton Bays. On Wednesday, Patch dropped by the shop to seek out the oldest item for sale.

Sitting under an old Coca Cola cooler was just that treasure - a 128-year-old trunk, made of wood and tin.

The trunk was just six years older than the second oldest item, a Bible, made in 1891.

Of course there are many other unique items in the store, including military awards, an old Girl Scout uniform and even a child's pedal car that was built in 1956.
