Tell Us What Your Kids Can't Be On Halloween

As Halloween approaches, many parents are navigating which Halloween costumes are appropriate for their children.

According to parenting.com, pumpkin and bumble bee costumes are an idea of the past. Now, the bloodier the costume, the better, at least in some kids’ minds.

Here are a few tips from parenting.com in regards to costumes:

  • If you think it’s too gory, it probably is.
  • Kids under 10 need some sort of supervision.
  • Make sure older children stay in touch with a designated grownup on Halloween.
  • Meanwhile, the debate continues as to whether parents should say no to "naughty" costumes they consider unsuitably sexy for teens, tweens and younger.
