Southampton Pet of the Week: Sox

Sox's adoption fee is waived.

This week, the Southampton Animal Shelter is looking to find a home for Sox, a year-old Tuxedo male.

According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, the adoption fee for Sox has been waived as part of the shelter's "Fall Free For All" adoption promotion, which will run until the end of the year and waives all adoption fees for cats and kittens.

Also, the shelter has a special senior dog promotion where all dogs over 6-years-old are free too.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.

Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.
