Southampton Pet of the Week: Guinness

Southampton has some loving pets available for adoption.

This week, the  is looking to find a home for Guinness, a gorgeous, two-year-old Russian Blue mix.

According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, he arrived at the shelter in April when he got caught up in a feral cat trapping program in Hampton Bays.

"It was obvious from the start that this sweet, friendly cat was not feral and we were surprised when an owner didn’t come forward to claim him," Bambrick said. "Now he’s at the shelter waiting for a new home and someone to love."
