This week, the is looking to find a home for Nina, a one-year-old Pit Bull mix.
According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Nina is a very obedient girl.
"She loves people, but is selective with other dogs and needs a home without cats," Bambrick said.
All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.
Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.
To adopt Nina or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit them at 102 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.
Animals are not humans....some more evolved than others like dolphins or horses, I grant that....but just read the reports on how many attacks happen from Pit Bulls not a poodle or german shephard.
