This week, the is looking to find a home for Elsa, a 14-year-old Blue Cream Tortie.
According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Elsa has been at the shelter since November 2011 when she was found abandoned in a milk crate at the shelter’s front doors.
In honor of Adopt A Shelter cat month, Elsa’s adoption fees are waived as are all adoption fees on cats three years old or older.
All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.
Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.
To adopt Elsa or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit them at 102 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.
