This week, the is looking to find a home for Adonis, a 2-year-old Akita.
According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Adonis was brought to the shelter in June when his owner had to relocate.
"Adonis loves people, dogs and cats. He’s a gentle giant who will do well in pretty much any home," Bambrick said.
All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.
Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.
