Southampton Pet of the Week: Caramel Was Rescued From a Hoarder

Southampton has some loving pets available for adoption.

This week, the is looking to find a home for Caramel, is a 13-year-old female tiger.

According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Caramel came from a hoarder situation with 50 other cats who were rescued in total. 

"Caramel would be happy with a nice warm place to curl up," Bambrick said. "She would be quite content in a quiet home."

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.

Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.
