Southampton Pet of the Week: Nicole's Adoption Fee is Waived

Southampton has some loving pets available for adoption.

This week, the Southampton Animal Shelter is looking to find a home Nicole, a six-year-old cat that has been at the shelter since 2010.

According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Nicole was brought in when her owner died.

"She used to live with a dog and another cat so a home with other animals should be fine," said Bambrick.

Nicole's adoption fee has been waived under a shelter program that waives the adoption fee for cats that have been at the shelter for over a year. Anyone who adopts Nichole's will also get 6 months of food and medical care for her.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.
