This week, the is looking to find a home for Coco, a 6-year-old female pitbull.
According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Coco has been at the shelter since January when she was picked up as a stray.
"Coco is good with other dogs but would prefer a home without cats," said Bambrick.
All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.
Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.
To adopt Coco or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit them at 102 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.
