Southampton Pet of the Week: Adopt Sophie For Shelter Cat Month
Southampton has some loving pets available for adoption.
This week, the is looking to find a home for Sophie, a beautiful tiger calico.
According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Sophie has been at the shelter since February 2012 when she was surrendered by her owner who was moving where cats weren’t allowed.
"Help us celebrate Adopt A Shelter Cat month by giving Sophie a new home.," Bambrick said.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.
Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.

To adopt Sophie or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit them at 102 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.
