WATCH: Blue-Eyed Lenny Needs a Home

Lenny is available for adoption at the Southampton Animal Shelter.

This week, the Southampton Animal Shelter is looking to find a home for Lenny, a blue-eyed, two-year-old Pointer mix.

According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Lenny is highly energetic and would do best in a home with older teens or adults who would be able to give him an outlet for all that energy.

"A home with other dogs would be okay but no cats," said Bambrick.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.

Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.

To adopt Lenny or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit them at 102 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.
