This week, the is looking to find a home for Ernie, a 2-year-old, shorthaired Tuxedo.
According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Ernie has been at the shelter since January when his owner surrendered him because she had too many cats.
"Coming from a group home, he’d be fine with other cats but he’d also do well in a home by himself," Bambrick said.
All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.
Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.
