This week, the is looking to find a home for Benny, a supersized, 8-year-old orange tiger.
According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Benny has been at the shelter since September 2011 and would like nothing better than to find a place to hang his hat, preferably in a new home.
All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.
Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.
To adopt Benny or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit them at 102 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.
